Psychological Services have changed a lot in the last 20 years. Leaner, more problem-focused and outcome-oriented, there are a variety of effective approaches today that were not readily available previously. We provide services to adults, teens and children. We can meet virtually every mental health need you may have; in the rare instance when we cannot, we can quickly direct you to the right place. Acting as a behavioral, strategic and motivational consultant, we work with you, your partner, your children, your parents, etc., individually or in various combinations. Atlanta Area Psychological Associates, P.C. has been oriented towards training and development of our practitioners from the very beginning.
Many so-called "group practices" are simply practitioners who share the office rent, but have essentially no other connection. We can offer you a comprehensive range of services, including the benefit of skill sets your therapist may not have - because we are a team, not independents in competition with each other.
We are contracted with most of the major insurance companies. We also accept Georgia Medicaid (for patients up to age 21) and are on two of the Georgia Medicaid Managed Care Plans: Peach State (for patients up to age 21) and Amerigroup (for patients of all ages).
